To enable women entrepreneurs apply financial management in business, workshop was organized. Participants were provided with activities and case studies. Interactive presentations and participants’ workbook helped women entrepreneurs prepare business plans and financial statements of their businesses.

The Challenge

To prepare for investors, women entrepreneurs need to present business plans and financial projections. While women entrepreneurs have acumen of business, financial skills need improvement at times.

Solution

After analysis and review of nature of business and profiles of women, customized activities were designed. Workshop was conducted with participant centered approach. Pre and post quizzes demonstrated marked improvement in the knowledge of financial management and skill level of participants.
