Finman’s training programs have been developed and are continually updated, based not only on the latest international management principles and practices, but also on field research, first-hand experience, in-depth knowledge of the region and the specific requirements of organizations.

Training programs are open to participants from any organization. These participants have the opportunity to concentrate on their learning away from the job and without the pressures of day-to-day work.

In-House Trainings

Finman arranges In-House training sessions specifically for the employees of the clients on already developed training programs with or without any customization on clients’ request. We may also develop specialized training programs to bridge the gap identified through training needs assessment.

In-company programs benefit the client because they:

  • Include specially designed cases and exercises, which apply to the client’s situation

Training Methodology

Finman relies on a variety of training and facilitation methods and techniques. Used whenever applicable, these methods are aimed at enhancing individual and group interaction while maximizing learning.

About the training

The training provided participants with an introduction to Provincial Sales Tax on Services Laws. basic concept of sales tax withholding, registration requirements of the person providing / receiving services to/ from all the provinces and an overview of withholding laws of FBR (Federal), PRA (Punjab), SRB (Sindh) and KPRA (KPK)

About the trainer

Mr. Sharif ud din Khilji, the workshop trainer, is a fellow member of the Institute of Chartered accountants of Pakistan with over eighteen years of experience in the field of taxation matters. Mr. Khilji is also a Member Continuing Professional Development Committee, Rawalpindi Islamabad, ICAP. Mr. Khilji has conducted in-house session on taxation for the employees of various organizations.


Training title: HOW TO DETECT AND DEAL WITH FRAUD

About the training

The participants of the workshop learnt about different fraud scenarios and about management of different frauds including Financial Statement Frauds, White Collar Crime, asset Misappropriation, Bribery and Corruption and theft of Intellectual Property. Participants learnt about the art of fraud detection including planning & Conducting a Fraud Examination, Document Scrutiny Techniques, interviewing Techniques, Covert Examinations, Fraud Report Writing, Legal Implications, Ethics for Investigators and skills required for Fraud Detection

About the Trainer

Mr. Ali Anwer Adil (AAA) is currently working as Head of Internal Audit, Revenue Assurance and Fraud Management with the First 4G Telecom Company in Pakistan, Zong. Mr. Adil has more than 12 years of experience in Audit & Finance with specialty in ERM , Internal Audit, Fraud Examination & coaching. He has been associated with ZONG since last seven years. He specializes in detection and prevention of fraud and has practical insights on how to identify fraud, design controls to prevent fraud and once the fraud is detected, how to deal with the fraud, threats and the people involved in fraud

Managing Delinquency risk effectively

The participants of the workshop learnt about the ways and means of dealing with customer objectives and complaints, dealing with angry customers, ways of effective client verification, causes of delinquency, cost of delinquency, delinquency bucket concept, goals of collection process, danger signals, power technique and ways and means of effective verification which included: verification cycle, Danger signals, Demographic & business verification, Verification techniques and types of verification

About the Trainer – Mr. Farid Premani

Mr. Farid Premani is based at Houstan, Tx USA and has worked in 7 diverse country cultures in the areas of Microfinance, Mobile Banking, Technology, Digital Consulting. He is author of three books in the areas of business and management. Mr. Premani has served high tier clients such as BMW, The World Bank Group, CGAP, The Aga Khan Foundation, Germany Frankfurt University, Telenor Telco and Easy Paisa group with extensive experience in areas of Digital Marketing and Development of Technology Consulting and Training Workshops, Mobile Banking and Micro finance. Mr. Premani is an author, public speaker and Radio Broadcaster. He also enjoys public speaking and often takes guest sessions within his radio broad casting show called Ignite the Spark. He is founder and CEO of Aleedex Inc.

Workshop: Excel with Excel

The workshop participants learnt about effective use of MS Excel through learning about Workbooks, cell referencing, functions, advance cell formatting and editing, templates, linking cells and various tools. The workshop covered key areas related to Visual Basic Applications including Macros, Recording, Running, Shortcut, Selecting Cell, Select Range, Module, Procedure, Record ,Run Debug Macros, Use buttons & Spinner in excel model and creating a new Excel function and Protection. This shall result in enabling participants to use advance options to automate work and increase efficiency. Participants learnt about Data Forms and database functions along with auditing options.

About the trainer – Mr. Mazher Saleem

Mr. Mazher Saleem is an experienced excel trainer with over 600 hours of training experience of Excel. Mr. Mazher qualified as a Chartered Certified Accountant and has extensive experience in Accounting, Finance, Management and Financial modeling in MS Excel.

Mr. Mazher has conducted several workshops on Advanced MS Excel with VB application both in Pakistan and UK for employees, students, clients and members of Institute of cost and management accountants of Pakistan (ICMAP), Institute of Chartered Accountants of Pakistan (ICAP), Association of Chartered Certified Accountants (ACCA) and various other organizations.

About the Training

Micro Small and Medium Enterprises (MSME) form a significant part of the country’s business environment. NRSP Bank organized a two week long training for over 100 executives across Pakistan on Financial and credit analysis on MSME. The training was based on School of Frankfurt’s methodology of training.

 

Workshop on Finance Act 2019 – Changes in taxation laws
