The program was aimed to bring together a diverse group of professionals across Pakistan from Microfinance Banks and Non-Bank Microfinance companies, donors, regulators and investors under one roof a week to attend various sessions and immerse themselves in the peer-learning experience.
The Bootcamp offered a platform to professionals to deeply reflect on various industry challenges while engaging in interactive discussion to learn from each other’s experience and come up with solutions to these problems and build a strong network of professional contacts.
The key features of the Bootcamp were:
- Power hours with renowned industry leaders where participants took part in discussions on emerging trends in the financial inclusion and microfinance space, learnt about key institutional lessons and a variety of transformational leadership approaches.
- Training sessions to further enhance management skills of the participants in the areas of strategic leadership, digital finance, agriculture finance, product development, customer satisfaction and people’s management.
- Panel discussions on financial inclusion in the country & role of regulations and key stakeholders and launch of Pakistan Microfinance Review Report
- Informal extracurricular activities – team building, hiking and cricket was also part of the Bootcamp where practical exercises equipped managers to tackle issues related to team work and strengthened their abilities to confront conflicts within teams
